When bluehouse opened in 2005, the Santomer platform bed was the belle of the ball. Now, after a hiatus from our showroom, it's back, as majestic as ever! On this bed, you'll wake up at the crack of dawn, not because you're uncomfortable (perish the thought!), but because it will start your day off with a bang to see the reclaimed wood of this towering headboard come to life in the first rays of sunlight. Solid mahogany construction with horizontal strips of peroba rosa. Peroba is a recycled wood, reclaimed from 100-year-old Brazilian barns, used here in a nearly indestructable quarter-inch thick veneer. Because of the nature of reclaimed wood, every piece made from it is one-of-a-kind and may feature imperfections that add to its character.
