Rob: The Plank, Natural - This cutting board inspired love at first sight (and first touch.) It reminds me of an airplane wing -- you can't help but reach out and run your fingers across the smooth surface. Besides using it in the kitchen when I'm chopping away, I put it to work at parties as a display board for cheese and crackers. It's the perfect housewarming gift, too -- beautiful and useful.
Rob: Eva Solo Handblown Carafe - The proportions of these carafes are just right -- they look gorgeous when filled with water, wine or juice -- and feel so natural in your hand. Like little glass sculptures ... filled with juice! I got them for my mother, that's how much I like these. (They were a hit.)
Rob:Sweet Grass Farms Laundry Concentrate with Lavender or Lemon Verbena Scent - I don't want to embarrass myself by admitting that I enjoy doing laundry... wait, I think I just did. The scent of this powder is just strong enough to linger a bit when the clothes are clean, but not so strong as to be overpowering. It makes me think I hung my wash up to dry in a field somewhere. We all need small pleasures like that.
