Let's lay it on the line: these bowls are not for your soup or cereal. Really, they're not for your dinner at all. They're not 100% smooth on the bottom, so they shouldn't go on anything that scratches super-easily. However, they're an attractive catch-all for anything that won't make them rust. Try keys, change, or similar sundries. You're already putting them someplace, and the odds are that that place is not as attractive as this bowl. Bowl is 10" in diameter.
